Vinyl insulated push-on terminals are made from tinned copper and the crimp barrel is surrounded with a vinyl insulation to protect the connection against short circuits. The insulation is tapered to make wire insertion into the push-on terminal easier. Vinyl insulated push ons come in three terminal sizes, 0.110, 0.187, and 0.250 width, and are available in either male or female designs. These terminals are for use with wire sizes ranging from 22 gauge to 10 gauge. Vinyl insulated push-on terminals are color coded based on wire size: 22-18 awg - red, 16-14 awg - blue, and 12-10 awg, - yellow. Maximum voltage rating is 600 volts.
