Vinyl insulated butt splices are wire connectors for splicing 22 gauge to 2 gauge wire. Vinyl (PVC) insulation covers these butt splices and give them an electrical rating up to 600 volts. The splices are made from tin plated copper to provide excellent conductivity and the insulation is flared on the ends to make it easier to insert your wires without spreading the strands. The insulation is thicker than competitive brands so it will withstand the stress of crimping without splitting and is color coded based on wire size. Excellent butt splice for use in automotive and marine electrical systems, and they are UL rated for use in splicing higher voltage electrical wires as well. A great multi-purpose butt splice with a maximum temperature rating of 221°F (105°C). Best of all, they are manufactured in the USA.
