Collection: Black Slit Wire Loom
Standard Black Slit wire loom tubing is the most popular and economical wire covering available. Standard wire loom is made from polyethylene and is very durable. Useful for covering unsightly bundles of wires and cables, while providing a good level of protection. Covering your wires with wire loom will greatly reduce the chance of wire failure due to short circuits from abrasion and debris. The extruded loom tubing is corrugated to provide an extra level of protection of your wires from abrasion and impacts, while remaining extremely flexible. There is a slit down the full length of the tubing to allow for the easy insertion of wires and cables. The corrugated design also adds a high level of crush resistance, and provides the tesion to keep the slit closed along the whole length of the wire loom. Polyethylene wire loom has a temperature rating of -40°F to 200°F, (-40°C to 93°C), making it useful for general purpose wire covering in automotive, marine, and industrial applications. If your environment requires a higher heat tolerance, use nylon wire loom instead. Wire loom comes in these sizes: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, and 2 inch inside diameters. Our wire loom is sold by the foot, so you can buy only what you need. The loom willl be packaged in bundles, coils, or boxes depending on the length you order. smaller lengths of wire loom will be continuous. Larger lengths, such as those larger than 100ft., may be bundled or cut into smaller sections to prevent tangling.
