Flame retardant nylon slit wire loom tubing is used where higer temperatures and additional flame protection is required. The wire loom is coated with a fire retardant material to snuff out any fire in the harness. It meets UL 94-V2 rating for flame retardancy, with a temperature range of -40°F to 125°F
