Collection: Pigtail and Closed End Crimp Connectors

3-Way Pigtail ConnectorsPigtail connectors are an insulation displacement connector that are filled with a di-electric grease to prevent moisture from getting inside the connector. You do not need to strip the ends of your wires. You simply insert the wires into the connector and squeeze the blue cap down with a pair of pliers. Metal tines inside the pigtail connector will slice through the insulation of your wires creating the connection while the sealant helps protect against corrosion. These electrical connectors allow you to connect up to three wires of different sizes (20 awg to 14 awg) together. Pigtail connectors are rated to maximum of 300 volts and are UL listed and CSA certified.

Closed end connectors are crimp-able for a quick, inexpensive, easy and permanent electrical connection of two or more wires. The outer insulating shell of the connector is made from nylon and houses a small tinned copper barrel. You simply insert your wires all the way into the closed end connector and crimp around the barrel using any standard wire crimpers. The connectors are able to connect multiple wires together and work well on both stranded and solid core wire. You can seal up the connector using dual wall heat shrink with adhesive, or you can wrap it with standard electrical tape. The maximum voltage rating for closed end connectors is 300 volts.
