Cold Shrink Tape
Also known as amalgamating tape. When applied, amalgamating tape will fuse to itself, creating a permanent bond to itself.
Originally developed for power and distribution cables, but also used for bundling, underground wiring, repairing hose, pipe leaks, etc.
Excellent for moisture sealing in electrical installments, industrial and marine applications.
Ideal for covering cable lugs, splices, and termination. This tape is NOT resistant to oils and greases. 30 Feet x 1'' Wide Roll
When tape is applied with a high degree of stretch within two or three minutes, it has already begun to amalgamate. Within four hours it will be a solid mass of rubber.
