Red twist on wire connectors are used to connect multiple 18-10 awg wires together without special tools. The red thermoplastic outer insulating shell has ridges for easy twisting of the connector. The square inner spring grabs the exposed copper conductor conductors of your wires and threads itself on to provide a secure and reliable electrical connection.
